What started as a spontaneous climbing trip with two friends in wheelchairs turned into a multi-year journey of advocacy, community-building, and radically reimagining access to the outdoors.

It started with a dream, of weekends filled with bike racing and adventure. A warm place to have my friends in to play games, and a cozy place to sleep while in motion.

OAS creates a space where everyone believes in a future where access to outdoor recreation isn’t limited by ability. A place where inclusion isn’t an afterthought—it’s the starting point.
